ALLEN SU

I’m Allen Su, a 4th year studying Computer Science B.S at the Georgia Institute of Technology, and will be graduating Dec 2024. I'm currently a researcher at BrainGate working on cursor control tasks and integrating VR with our BCI system.

Last year, I was a Software Engineer at RF Labs, a 10 person startup working on reinventing competitive live gaming. I used React, React Native, Typescript, and Python to build beautiful web apps and mobile apps.

 

During the summer of 2022, I was a Software Engineer Intern at Apple, working on the Proactive Intelligence team. Proactive Intelligence owns features such as Siri Suggestions, which uses on device machine learning to predict the apps that you’ll launch and suggests those to the user. At Apple, I accelerated the development and enhanced testability for machine learning teams across Apple by creating a scalable iOS app & CLI tool to rapidly create, save, and alter datasets within a time-series database.

 

My strengths include my eagerness to learn, humility, and grit when solving technical problems. I’m always excited to challenge myself with different technologies.
